Hang on to your hat
OceanJ founder Gail has been very busy lately, finding new collections to bing to www.oceanj.co.uk. We caught up with her to discuss all the new hats that have been added to the site.
“I thought the title for the latest #InspirOcean board was very apt” says Gail.
“HANG ON TO YOUR HAT because the month of October is notoriously windy and it’s also the month when we notice the temperature drop rapidly. So we want to get wrapped up and be cosy whilst out and about but then the wind sometime makes it impossible to wear a hat as it will blow it away, or at least that is what memories of childhood makes me think, I can still see gentlemen running down Princes street here in Edinburgh (home of OceanJ) chasing their fedora’s as they got carried away on a gust of wind.
‘But it’s different these days, hats are designed to withstand the weather much more than they used to be. Our collection of bobble hats, snuggly, wool with furry pompoms are definitely wind proof, and definitely high end fashion. The colours this season are beautiful, they will be (I predict) even more popular than our collection last year.

‘We have also added some super stylish hats from Powder UK. Be in fashion this autumn and winter with these bright and bold hats. Stylish yet timeless fedora’s styled with feature button and pleated trim that can be worn for any occasion whether it be casual or fancy! I love this collection and am very tempted to have one in each of the fabulous colours, just because they are such a great fashion accessory whilst being practical too.

‘The nights are closing in, Autumn is upon us and now is the perfect time for you to add a splash of colour to your wardrobe, a splash of colour that also keep you looking stylish whilst wrapped up. And don’t forget we have a wide range of gloves and scarves to compliment your headwear.
‘Happy shopping everyone, I hope you enjoy the latest #InspirOcean board and are inspired to start wearing hats”.
